Head of Human Resources – Position Overview
TheHead of Human Resources (HR Director)will lead all aspects ofNovaio’s human resources operations, includingtalent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance. This role is ideal for aseasoned HR leaderwith a proven track record intech companies, SaaS businesses, or fast-paced startups, who can combinestrategic visionwithhands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
- ✦ Develop and executeHR strategiesaligned with Novaio’sbusiness and growth objectives.
- ✦ Leadrecruitment, onboarding, and talent retentionfor top talent intechnology, sales, and operations.
- ✦ Build and manage aperformance management frameworkto drive employee growth and accountability.
- ✦ Create and implementemployee engagement, learning, and professional development programs.
- ✦ Ensurecompliance with Canadian employment lawsand maintain up-to-date HR policies.
- ✦ Drivecompany culture initiativesthat reflect Novaio’s mission and values.
- ✦ Partner with leadership onworkforce planning, compensation structures, and organizational design.
- ✦ OverseeHR software systems, payroll coordination, andemployee benefits administration.
Qualifications
- ✦ Bachelor’s degree inHuman Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- ✦ 5+ years of progressivehuman resources management experience, including at least 2 years in aleadership role.
- ✦ Proven track record intechnology, SaaS, or high-growth startup environments.
- ✦ In-depth knowledge ofCanadian labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance.
- ✦ Strongleadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- ✦ Ability to excel in afast-paced, innovative business environment.
